We know that the company started as HE Wilcox Motor Car Company in 1906. In 1921, it changed to Wilcox Trux as it appears they found a niche in the commercial space before ceasing operations in 1928. The Butternut Yellow paint contrasts nicely with the stained oak wood trim, painted black hardware, and brass accents. Inside, the cab is utilitarian (but awesome) with its wooden headliner and trim. There are no bells or whistles other than a pop out windshield for ventilation. The vinyl seat back looks original with its buttoned and distressed, weathered look, like it came out of a booth in an old Western, but appears in very good condition. The bottom seat looks like it was replaced during the restoration. The rebuilt six-cylinder engine is from Continental Motor Corporation and runs great. This is one cool truck, sure to get a lot of looks anywhere it goes, and you can even haul your stuff in the bed! This is a very rare chance to own a piece of transportation history.  Research from the previous owner netted no other one like it in existence as far as he could tell.  This 1925 Wilcox might be the only one left in the world, so if you want a one-of-a-kind show stopper regardless of condition, here is your chance!  It was restored a few years ago and runs and drives exceptional.  The six cyl engine was rebuilt a few years ago.  Manufactured in Minnesota by a company that primarily made firetrucks, this one still has some original patina and overall is in good shape!
