pre WWII home made brass lapel pin
.  It is made with a safety pin soldered into what looks like some type of casing, cut in half.  The pin is in good condition, but is quite tarnished.  I am unsure of its exact age or origins
.  It is 2.25” long, and .5” wide.
It is an interesting home made lapel pin, and could possibly be a war souvenir.
