    Description

    Vintage high quality full length bronzed metal statue of English playwright William Shakespeare.
    This pondering Shakespeare standing by a stack of manuscripts is cast in a heavyweight metal with a bronze patina. This is the old metal version, not a modern day resin knock off. The sculptural detail is excellent, from his bearded face and Elizabethan clothing to the pen in his hand. The round base is inscribed "SHAKESPEARE", and the bottom is covered in wood. This old statue probably went on top of a mantel or a mantel clock back in the day.
    It stands 12" tall by 5" wide by 4" deep on a 3.75" diameter round base, and weighs almost 3.5 lbs.
